"When my wife was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig Disease, and we learned what it was going to do to her, I decided to make plans to be able to take proper care of her. When I found a brochure for Preferred Private Care that said they would do home safety inspections, I called them for the service. They helped me select the location for a wheelchair ramp. At the same time I registered with them so they would have the necessary information to provide care when that time came.
Sometime later I decided I needed to get some help with care for my wife, and doing things around the house. I called them and they provided home help for the days when family was not available. Later it was necessary to get help 24/7 and they also provided that also.
The two ladies that provided the care mentioned above were very helpful with household chores and cared for my wife in a very professional and caring manner. We felt like they were part of the family because of their attitude and efforts to do everything they could to be helpful.
Several weeks after services were no longer needed, I received a small check in the mail from Preferred. It seems I had overpaid my account and I didn't know about it until I received the check!" -Paul D
